Brass Instrument Repairs based in London
Our North London Brass repair workshop offers a wide range of services to get your instrument playing again. We specialise in servicing for Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Tuba and Euphonium.
How much does a Brass Insrument repair cost?
This is often a question we get asked. With flute repairs, each instrument is unique and has to be assessed in person for an accurate quote. However with some key information you can get a ball park figure in mind.
How old is the Instrument?
Typically, after a year of regular play the components may start to seize due to scale build up, this should be professionally cleaned in order to prevent miss-alingement and damage.
When was the instrument last serviced?
Over time and with exposure to moisture oil can congeal, plating can tarnish, and slides can become stiff. Having it seen regularly by a technician can keep on top of issues before they become more serious.
What level is the Instrument?
Not all brass instruments are made equal. On cheaper student models, components are built from lower quality materials, and not to the same level of craftsmanship. These instruments may require more frequent servicing.
